Residents Associations
Residents’ Associations are action groups of people, from a scheme who come together to tackle issues and problems with one voice rather than individually. They are not there for their own individual interests, and should speak on behalf of the membership or community.
To be successful any residents' association need to be well organised because:
- It is more efficient - you get more done with the limited amount of time people can volunteer
- It is easier to run
- It establishes credibility with the tenants, residents, landlord and other service providers, making the association's voice stronger.
If you would like to set up a Residents’ Association on your scheme please contact us and we will help you do this.
